The Maserati Quattroporte Car - on Board Comfort



The Quattroporte features the Maserati Multimedia System created by Marelli and the Bose® Multimedia System. The Multimedia system includes as standard: satellite navigation system, on-board computer, mp3 player and CD-ROM, jukebox for mp3 files, hard disk driver and 30 GB hard disk, Bluetooth® Wireless Technology and voice control, USB-AUX-in that can serve as a USB reader.
The trip computer provides information on trip time, fuel consumption, average speed, covered distance, speed limit and mileage/days until the next service is due.The Bose® Surround System provides the excellent sound level for which the American company is renewed for and its speakers were specifically designed to fit the Maserati Quattroporte interior and acoustic at its best. The 7" color TFT high resolution screen is located in the center of the dashboard and displays several functions, such as the satellite navigation, CD, RDS tuner, jukebox, Bluetooth®, on board computer and USB reader. It is easy to control the system thanks to the intuitive commands on the dashboard whether the most frequently used functions are also located in the steering wheel mounted buttons. To secure high safety standard, voice control is available on functions such as the audio system, telephone and satellite navigation.
As an option, the rear seat entertainment system can feature a mounted rear screen and a DVD player. The Maserati Quattroporte rear compartment also has a AUX input jack for video games or external plug-ins where the sound come from either via headphones or through the main speaker system.
The Maserati Quattroporte features standard a dual-zone automatic climate control, which further improve the on board environment. There are a series of sensors measuring the quality on the air inside the cabin and to prevent unpleasant odors to come inside when the recycle function is activated. A second sensor prevents instead the glass from misting by reducing the level of humidity in the air. Passengers seated in the back can regulate the climate control thru six inlet ducts which also level the intensity of ventilation and the airflows split between the ducts.
Other on-board features include: light sensors to measure the strength of the ambient light by turning the headlights on and off, rain sensors to activate the windscreen wipers and regulating their frequency, cruise control, an alarm and the automatic door locking when the ignition is switched on. As an option, Maserati clients can choose to have pressure sensors, electro-chromic wing, internal mirrors and front parking sensors.
